Rana is a name that has created quite an impact in the cricketing world. It might be surprising to non-enthusiasts, but any cricket fanatic would know the significance this name holds in the game. Whether it’s Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, an international cricketer who played for Pakistan or Joginder Sharma, whose full name is Joginder Singh Rana and was instrumental in India’s 2007 T20 World Cup victory; Rana has been associated with some big feats in cricket.

Despite having a comparatively short international career, Joginder’s reputation as the man who defended 13 runs against arch-rivals Pakistan in the last over of crucial final will never fade from the hearts of the fans.
Joginder Sharma, whose real name is Joginder Singh Rana, was born on 23rd October 1983 in Rohtak, Haryana. A right-arm medium-fast bowler with aggressive lower-order batting skills, he represented India at various levels.

The night of September 24th, 2007 has been imprinted forever in history due to Joginder Singh Rana’s terrific performance.
